VBS Version 1.1.1:


Hey! Well, this was an embarrassing thing to post.

We did find some new things, but most of this is fixing stuff I somehow got wrong with my last update XD I guess that's just how it goes sometimes. 


ART AND INTERFACE

- Dirt Mounds for Earth Meld and Summons for Lingering Kiss are now surrounded by color auras so you can identify them better. Let me know if it's too intrusive and I can have it turn on only when you learn the ability :)

- Removed skill tooltips from Felski Tech Tree (you can still see skill descriptions once you learn them). They weren't showing correctly with the color codes.

- Weapon, armor and item tooltips have been homogenized and clarified.


BALANCE AND GAMEPLAY

- Restrain now heals you for 5% health as well as restoring Blood: This will help some DPS oriented parties slog through the first section better. Healing is a skill that is relevant to the game's design, but you should still be able to beat the starter section comfortably and decide how you want to continue once you have your gold and shops.

- Dexterity of first boss has been reduced: he was spamming too many skills way too much.

- Added some melee weapons to the sewer section for better variety.

- Cats have been nerfed: cats should be fun casters for the enemy that also have increased crit chance. Cats should not be more dangerous than Vampires and evade better than Rats.

- Blood Pack healing has been doubled: Again, to give more versatility to damage focused parties. You should require some form of external healing later on in the game, but if you want to just farm and buy blood packs this would take care of that nicely.

- Zombies (Corpses) have been nerfed (yes, after being buffed): This was nearly gamebreaking. Depending on RNG, you couldn't get past the first section of the game in some cases, since their ability to Poison limited your ability to autoattack... in a section where you can only auto attack. You can now get to the meat of the game more comfortably.

- Both Premonitions are back to Instant cast: This means you're not paying blood for a crappy Aggravated skill that is just gonna take one turn longer, you can now use it on omeone and cast something else on the same turn.


BUGS AND FIXES

- Fixed an issue where you could become softlocked if you backtracked into the sewers after friending the Warden. He should no longer block the entrance if you decide to go back.

- Fixed an issue where you couldn't get out of the boss area of the sewers. Turns out that door got broken somehow.

- Fixed an issue where Trash items were usable in menu: You should now only be able to sell them and not click incorretly on them and lose them.

- Key items used for quest progression should no longer appear in combat as usable items.
